- Kaiser Hospital - ~2nm straight-in RWY30, white buildings
- Cement Plant - VPWFR on the sectional
- 101 - The freeway (US 101) next to the airport

VFR
You will need to give a departure request on calling ground and they will expect one of the following departures.
IFR
IFR departure are almost always given this very lengthy departure procedure (and you have to read this back). You will want to have this ready to go. (Really hoping we could have an actual graphical DP one day)
